Welcome to Squash This Championship is a team event and HASSRA normally enters two teams of five players. If you are interested, have something to offer and play squash to a reasonable standard – preferably around county level or area/league 1st division level why not join us. 2011 Team ReportNational HASSRA sent two teams to this year’s Civil Service Team Squash Championships held in Nottingham. All the main Departments were represented and overall the event attracted some 30 players from all parts of the UK. The resultant line-up saw the six teams playing in a ‘Round Robin’ format, with the top two teams from each group progressing to semi-final stages of the main event. | |||

The HASSRA ‘A’ team of Jackie Codman, Siân Hughes, Chris Belton, Paul Woodruff and Robert Wilson narrowly lost in the first semi-final to defending champions DSRA (Defence). However, they were victorious in the third and fourth place play-off beating the Revenue/Customs 4 matches to 1. | ||
The HASSRA ‘B’ team of Keeley Grindle, Carol Whittington, Kevin Jackson, Barry Conlon and Phil Reasbeck did collect a trophy, beating Land Registry 5 matches to nil in the Plate Final.
