Colchester Zoo is open daily throughout the year (except Christmas Day) from 9.30am until dusk.

Spend a fun-packed day out and see over 200 species, HEAR the lion’s roar, TOUCH and African elephant, EXPERIENCE what it’s like to feed a giraffe. You’ll discover a whole world of real wild life at Colchester Zoo and as well as having fun you will be helping to fund their breeding programmes and Action For The Wild projects so you can help SAVE THEM.
