About HASSRA Fylde

HASSRA Fylde was renamed in the early 1990s after formerly being called North Fylde.

Following the Boundary Changes Project in 2004, the regions boundaries were amended so that its catchment area now mirrors the area covered by the FY postcode.

The following officers are responsible for the day to day running of the Region:-

• Jenny Richardson - Regional Business Partner
• Lindsey Richardson - Regional Finance Manager
• Liz Birnie - Regional Assistant
• Martin Collier - Regional Assistant

Fylde is governed by its own Regional Board of Management, Chaired by Steve Thorpe and the committee meets on a bi-monthly basis to review/decide policy for the Region.

It has also been an Association that has had a close affinity with the 2 CSSC Areas that cover the same geographical area, and through this, there are additional discounts available to members who subscribe to both organisations. It has always been the case that Fylde members have had a multitude of Membership Benefits available to them, which include cinema tickets (Odeon & Vue), discounted tickets for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Camelot, Gulliver’s World, and the world famous Blackpool Tower. Additionally Fylde is unique in offering its members the opportunity of its own sports grounds, as well developing films, and numerous discounted coach trips which include shopping to many major shopping centres, as well overseas to Prague, Ghent, Disneyland Paris, and around the UK to Bath, Bristol, Warwick Edinburgh, London, Other discounts are also available on production of the HASSRA Membership Card for up to 6 people at Chester and Blackpool Zoos, We also loan out up to 20 National Trust Cards to members, as well as sell single use cameras for just £1.80, there are numerous other benefits on our Intranet pages.
